The Day the World Ended It was a peaceful, quiet death; it was loud and full of explosions. Well only one actually… the earth just exploded. No one knew why or how, not even the numerous supers that watched over the world on the satellite Feachatur. Sustaining heavy damages, losing numerous personnel and most of the data on board was either lost or corrupted, the satellite Feachatur found itself stranded for the better part of month before help arrived. Earth's explosion sent the moon flying hazardously through space, where it eventually collided with one of the numerous space colonies. Luckily it was only a research colony, and the only things on the moon was a single facility that no one knew about. Good thing right? Sure. Thousands dead on top of the billions that died on earth alone… They said earth was a magical place. Well, whoever they are, they were right. And when the earth exploded, we learned that magic turns out to act like radiation occasionally, for those people who were magic sensitive, they got a nasty surprise in that there very minds and bodies became warped by this radiation. For normal humans on the numerous space colonies? Some of them came down with unnatural maladies. That isn’t something I will cover in this log. Don’t worry though, I’ll cover it later. Is now a good time to mention that earth was the center of our economy? Yeah well, it was. Since its destruction the space colonies have begun relying on the generosity of various aliens, and, our now beloved human race (an endangered species now, by the way) have been forced to endure certain humiliations… but enough about that. You know, maybe I’ll just end this report there. Till next time, your galactic radio host says it best: ‘over and out’.

Two organizations you all know and maybe love The first one I'll talk about is called the Ouroboros Foundation. Genetic modification is their gig and they are damn good at it. With such gifts as increased strength for people working in construction, the ability to breathe water for those on water planets, and so on and so forth. Now, important note here, these guys are basically our government, unofficially of course, because in the end, when earth went and died on us, these guys became our only economical asset; the only legit service we could provide. It helps that they have found a way to modify you without having to start from scratch, if you know what I mean. Rumor has it though, that they kidnap the various alie- er Xenos (my sponsors have been getting on me about that). Anyway, yeah, kidnapping them! For their genetics. No one has been able to successfully pin them, of course, but what are you going to do. Now, the other organization I'll talk about today, is our protectors: the Guardians. We have no idea what species they are, though they are shaped like humans. They never have exposed skin, and are always wearing these combat space suits, complete with the armor plating and everything! No fabric on those suits. They got some good tech though, beam swords, good guns that utilize lasers, generally. And what's more, these guys are scary in combat. I don't think they feel pain, and there judgement is never wrong, or if it is, it doesn't get questioned. Nobody knows where there base of operations is, no one knows what they look like, no one knows how many of them there are, and no one knows where they are from. They rarely speak, ever. All we know is this: they are here to protect us, even if its from ourselves sometimes.

Where did the moon go? We have no idea. We know it hit that research station, and after that? Gone. Disappeared and no debris. A true mystery. I could throw around theories, rumors, and crazy cover up story shenanigans all day on that one, but that doesn't solve the mystery. Sorry to keep this one short folks, but until next time: 'that's a wrap'.

The Mantavalians That's right folks, those Xenos who we have known the longest. Even longer than we were supposed to know other Xenos, but hey, who counting the years, am I right? Not getting it? Well, I guess it don't matter anyway. What does matter is the potential wealth of resources and aid they have to offer. Word has it that certain Space Colonies have made successful deals with them, and they may have recently filled out a contract with the Ouroboros Foundation to trade genetics secrets with each other. now, this is only rumor and speculation of course. They are a super-tech species and some of the stuff they got we can learn to fear. apparently they got True Stealth Technology and have mastered the weaponization and energy/fuel uses of lasers! In more menacing news: the rumors fly around all the time, you may have heard them, but some say that this species will replace you! Don't get complacent out in the black people! Still a dangerous place out there...

Arcane Mutants They are the rare remnants of human magic users. Earth's destruction was their baptism in the magic of the very planet. Turns out it causes mutation in human magic users! These poor individuals got changed, not just physically, but mentally too. Started saying things that didn't make sense, started thinking things that no normal person would. Their bodies became disaster zones, mutating in bizarre ways that defied logic. On rare occasions it isn't so noticeable, but that just means that the person wasn't a powerful mage. I guess the nature of the mutations are partially related with the type of magic the person knew and could use. I personally think that this was the universes way of reimbursing or maybe even replacing what it had to take, but got the order all wrong. I once new a woman, looked far too cute, unnaturally so, and when I took her to bed that night, I couldn't help but notice the tail coming out of her left leg, or the teeth growing out of her left breast.... Um, anyway, I think I'll be calling it day. I just got a bad taste in my mouth...

Scorpio Colony That's right people, I was in crime central itself just a few months back. I saw some things I didn't like, saw some things I could like. I even took some time to watch a few gladiatorial matches. More on that later. "How did a human colony become such a melting pot of xenos civilizations in such a bad way?" you ask? Easy: Shit happens. The wrong people took advantage of the situation at the right time. Humans were basicaly enslaved there, except maybe for the Ouroboros Foundation employees who got a nice ransom paid, or the rare few people who escaped. long story short everything went to hell and civilization just flat out ass-dumped everything that was right and proper. basically barbarians now. Not just the humans either, everyone there. Drugs, prostitution, Gladiatorial matches, organ dealers, open shoot outs, and the black market are just a few of the crimes that happen on Scorpio Colony. hell, ask me about the standard of living there if you really want to be depressed. Guardians rarely go there, looking at the colony as a lost cause. Some believe its cause they were bought off, but me? I think they are just preparing for a purge.

The Bergrisi Remember how I mentioned Scorpio Colony the other day? Well those gladiatorial matches sometimes have a Bergrisi in them. Now folks, few things frighten me more than a Bergrisi in combat. I heard that there lust for battle can grow so great that they begin to ignore their bodies limitations! They say that a Bergrisi could lose an arm and not notice once they get going. Lucky for us, the only times you will ever see one of these creatures is in the Colosseum or hired as a bodyguard. Rumor has it that they are very simple minded, and can't travel the stars, and in fact, would prefer not to leave their planet at all. If this is true, then every Bergrisi you will ever see, did not choose their path in life, but was forced into it. With that said, their bones have a pretty high price on the black market... if you can get them, heh. This was your all knowing host, broadcasting from the black.

The Hemokias Now, when I tell you the Bergrisi frighten me, I want you to understand that their are some things in the verse that make my blood chill over. Those things are called the Hemokias. These creepy fucks poison themselves on a regular basis and always live to tell the tale. It is said that their blood can emulate any poison they have been exposed to! What's worse is that everyone is prey to them, including each other. The way they look at you? Makes you feel like they might just eat you if you make eye contact. Rumor goes around that if you piss off a Hemokias, your family vanishes without a trace, and then so do you...

Feels like its been forever since I was on the Waves. Had some ship problems and spent some time with our favorite ship builders, the Lupinarith. These freaky looking aliens are genius's possibly capable of matching the Mantavalians. Don't let there frightening appearance (four arms, wolf head, snake like tail meant for movement, fur covered bodies, humanoid bodies) fool you, they are very friendly and extremely curious. I would say that their intelligence is counter balanced only by the fact that their curiosity is greater... to a fault in fact. interestingly, the one thing that people overlook, is that the Lupinarith also have made major advances in numerous other scientific fields. the fact that no one has really paid this much attention is fine by them. Rumor has it that they are willing to trade scientific secrets, if it is something they did not already have. truly it is a gamble, if it happens to be true.
