The Day the World Ended
It was a peaceful, quiet death; it was loud and full of explosions. Well only one actually� the earth just exploded. No one knew why or how, not even the numerous supers that watched over the world on the satellite Feachatur. Sustaining heavy damages, losing numerous personnel and most of the data on board was either lost or corrupted, the satellite Feachatur found itself stranded for the better part of month before help arrived.
Earth explosion sent the moon flying hazardously through space, where it eventually collided with one of the numerous space colonies. Luckily it was only a research colony, and the only things on the moon was a single facility that no one knew about. Good thing right? Sure. Thousands dead on top of the billions that died on earth alone�
