The grenade obliterated 4 of the 5 men leaving the last one badly injured.
"Johnson, when I said low-level I didn't mean useless!" The mayor yelled as he looked at the video feed of the useless thugs. "Get Vincent on the line. Have him send out the Zodiac!"
Moments later 12 figures appeared from an underground bunker and spread out in all directions.

C'celus teleported along next to his current watcher, not bothering to actually land on anything. It amused him that this man would stop him from killing a creature that would destroy everything in sight if not stopped. Perhaps he simply did not realize the implications of a human that had become consumed by absolute rage to the point of permanent transmutation. He decided not to think about it and waited for them to arrive.

On the outskirts of Vincent's property Eastern Wind and C'celus looked at the guards on the perimeter. "This will be fun. Follow my lead...and let's not get spotted." He leapt over the tall hedge and fence and ran along the blind spot of all the watchers. He made it to the back of the house and looked around. "Where the fuck did he go?"

C'celus simply made himself invisible and walked along, carefully avoiding strange looking spots on the ground. "Where the fuck did he go?" "I am behind you. Magic, remember?"

"Right." Eastern Wind face palmed, and opened a window. He slipped in and quietly moved up the stairs. He heard someone talking on the phone and took his ear to the door to listen to it.

"Yes, Mr. Johnson, I have sent them out," Vincent spoke in to the phone his voice trembling in nervousness. "Yes Sir, all 12, but two have doubled back. The Ox and the... I'm sorry Sir. I'm afraid I have to go. Yes Sir, some uninvited guests. Two of them, Sir. One seems to be able to hide himself from sight, Sir, but it seems the other is Eastern Wind. Yes Sir, right away. Come on in, Gentlemen, and don't mind my friend behind you."

"Holy shite....they know how to grow 'em big here don't they." Eastern Wind said turning around to the man that appeared to be some sort of pro wrestling fanatic. "Forgive me for asking but do you think you can get me Sting's autograph you look like his older brother." He said with a snicker as he jumped up and double kicked the man square in the chest. The resulting force also sending him backwards through the door. He completed a full back flip and skidded to a halt one hand on the floor. "It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Traybill. You can put the damages on my tab, after we have a chat."

The Ox was barely fazed by the kick and didn't make any indication that he felt the kicks before Charging at Eastern Wind.
Vincent looked down at the man in front of him. "I'm sorry, but I don't talk to those that don't have money. So if you would kindly excuse me." With that said, Vincent turned around and walked out of the room through a hidden door.

"Oooo look who's all high and mighty." Eastern Wind said as he flipped over the behemoth's head. Whipping around, he unleashed an onslaught of pokes to the pressure points available in the back of the legs and shoulders.

"Should i go after him, or would you like assistance here?" C'celus was no longer invisible and was in fact leisurely sitting in a nearby chair.

Seeing the one lone injured man as the only survivor, Shroud was quick to rush the man, kicking away his weapon. Once disarmed, Shroud went to a knee and lifted up the poor man by the collar. "Who sent you after me. Answer me, and I may let you live."

The injured man shook in Shrouds grip as he answered with a name, Vincent Traybill.
The Ox's tough skin and thick muscles protected him from most of the pressure points, but there where still enough to cause him to visibly flinch. Angry at the pain the Ox spin around, his fist swinging toward Eastern Wind with enough force to burst through steel.

Lifting a hand over the man, it began to glow with a green light, healing some of the wounds to let him live, but not enough that he could fight for a while. "Now if you want to run fast and away from here, answer me this. How did you learn I was here?" This was vital for him to know. This entire mission was originally going to be a fact-finding one before he'd make a full fledged strike, but he had been spotted, and really wanted to know how it'd happened.

The man, feeling genuinely better, looked up at Shroud. His eyes full of fear. "I d-don't know. M-my b-boss just told us to go here and test you. I-I swear that's all I kn-know. B-but he has a lot of connections, powerful connections. Powerful enough to keep the city Super free and with enough money to create the Zodiac. It's those connections that would have told him."

That one word of Zodiac sent a chill down Shroud's spine. In every game that he'd ever played, whenever Zodiac of any kind was mentioned, it meant twelve elite units, all themed after the varying cycles of the year. If the particular instance he was thinking of was the basis for this particular set... In that instant, Shroud knew that if such a force were unleashed, they'd be truly formidable to near unstoppable. Once more, his hand was glowing green, healing the man's legs so he could run away. "If I see you so much as of jay-walking, then your life is forfiet. Now get out of here before the Zodiac target you." Rising from the ground, Shroud now knew that this 'fact finding mission' was over. There wasn't any chance he could get what he needed, recharge, then come back. He had to go in blind, and there was no way around it.
